Pride
Silence.
What... What happened...
Darkness. It felt like Dachou was lying on a cold, hard rock. Maybe cement? He couldn't tell.
Where am I... It's so hot... And dark... It can't be dark.. This isn't natural...
Somewhere, deep in the deathly dark abyss, a shout echoed into Dachous ears.
Wait.. What? What was that... Am I-
"Get up, we said!" Dachous eyes shot open. He wasn't completely blind anymore, as his eyes were just closed. His felt his heart in his throat, and he slowly turned his head to face the door of the room. Where was he? It appeared to be some sort of jail, due to the small, contained room with tightly places bars on acting as a doorway for one side. A Pair of masked guards stood on the other side of the bars, and it took a little while for Dachou to register that they were shouting at him.
"W-what?"
The guard scowled at Dachou, and shoved a key into the bars lock, kicking the barred door open. He tapped his foot impatiently as Dachou attempted to sit upright. He began to pull himself up, but a searing pain told him he'd be much comfier laying down, So that is what he did.
"Th e hell are you doing?!"
"Oh.. You know... Just... Resting."
"We aren't paid to watch you sleep. Get up! You are needed in the lower cellar for interrogational purposes!"
Dachou stared at the ceiling, his eyes fluttering. "Interrogational purposes? I didn't do anything, Sarg. Honestly, I'm as innocent as a child."
The Guard snorted, and stomped towards Dachou. The firebender took note of the already horribly lighted cell, and how the guard looked even more menacing with teh shadows overlapping and giving the mask a dark, fearful look to it. Dachou enjoyed that look greatly. He grinned stupidly, his eyes half closed from what he had endured the previous hours. But the guard took no heed. He grabbed Dachous wrist, violently pulling him into a sitting position, the pain in his back spiking up into his head. His vision blurred for a moment, and he swayed.
"Ugh.. Sir.. You shouldn't have done that...."
But as Dachou began to look up at the guard, his face enraged, the man sent a blow right at Dachous jaw, sending him flying off his makeshift bed and onto the ground, where he landed on all fours, sweat beginning to drip down his chin. He coughed once, before looking up, where the other guard walked towards Dachou silently, mercilessly, and grabbed one of his arms, shoving Dachous face back into the ground as he pulled at the other arm and handcuffed them together.
Dachou grunted as the man pulled him to his feet, unnecessarily roughly, and pushed him forward, out the door, where he stumbled and crashed into the railing holding him back from falling. Dachou looked around, realizing he was in an indoor balcony, and there were dozens upon dozens of cells just like Dachous side by side, and below him was a ground where it seemed like other prisoners talked and played board games. Sounded amazing.
The air around Dachou seemed humid and misty, and he gagged as he took in a breath. He looked at the guards, who were closing his cell door, and groaned.
"Look, Officer, I did nothing wrong. I-"
"Don't act like you don't know what you did, Dachou. We know everything about you."
"Look, ok? I'm sorry! When a girl says 'Bring it on' what are you supposed to do? I took it literally!" Dachou shouted, his face confused and exasperated.
"What?" The guard tilted his head at Dachou, confused.
"Nothing." Dachou quickly shut up and looked forward, his mouth sealed as he continued walking, not wanting to probe the question any further. It looked like this prison was pretty harsh. No one was allowed to touch each other, it seemed, and no one was allowed to firebend. This place seemed like an ultimate hell. "So, uh, where are we going again, Sir?" Dachou asked innocently, slightly curious as to where he was going to be attacked this time.
"Basement level, in the dungeons. You'll meet your friend there, where he'll be chained up nice and tightly."
"Friend? What, did you chain my books to the wall? Because, Newsflash, they're not going anywhere."
"No, you idiot! The Earth King!"
"Wait what?" Dachou stopped in his tracks, and the guard behind him bumped into him, yet the firebender was unmoving. Were they serious? Did they honestly think that Dachou had established a friendship with another human being? He could barely see eye to eye with his grandma, much less with anyone that wasn't related with him. He eyed the guard curiously. Was this man playing a joke on him? "Uh, sorry to disappoint you, but I don't know him. Except in books of course."
"Just keep walking and talking, kid. You don't know what you got yourself into by lying..."

Re: Pride
The reflection of his face was clear against the water, Naraca looking upon it with a puzzled expression. Where was he? He wanted to look up to get his bearing, but for some reason he felt something telling him to keep looking into the water.
The feeling of his hands and knees against the cool liquid gave him slight chills, yet he chose to look beyond his reflection and into the depths below.
It was almost pitch black in the water, faint grey light that was reflecting off the water allowed him to look within the deep waters. The distance his sight covered wasn't much though.
As he looked within though, there was a moment of silence before he saw two red eye's open in the water.
......
A deep gasp filled Naraca's lungs as he opened his eye's wide and looked around. It was pitch black however and he wasn't able to get his bearing at all. It was very hot and he could feel sweat dripping down his chin and running down his forehead. The faint noises of metal smashing against metal could be caught by his ears. Was he in some sort of engine room? Was he back on the ship?
He attempted to take a step forward but instead he felt a heavy metallic resistant against his entire shin. He looked down at his leg, faintly seeing the shapes of something tightly coiling around his whole calve. Was he in chains?
He tried to move his left arm forward, it was reaching up high and when he pulled his only heard the clinking of chains together and resistance against his entire forearm. He right arm felt oddly numb, he tried moving but quickly stopped when a sharp pain rang though his upper arm and forearm. He took a breath of hot air to breathe through the pain before he started looking around a little more. As his eye's adjusted he could only see shapes. He caught the shapes of the chains around his limbs and his torso. He could see what looking like they might have been bars in front of him. He was in chains alright, and from the looks of it he was in some sort of cell.
He recalled what had happened the last time he was awake. Seeing Kiara being held by Pain, he himself being in sort of grip.
That...Darkness inside of Naraca must have allowed Pain to gain some sort of control over him. How would he be able to protect Kiara from a man that could just control him to not do a thing? What would it take to prevent him just taking control of him and just having him kill Kiara with his own sword?
This really was what Naraca had signed up for by becoming her Guardian though wasn't it...?
For a brief moment he wondered how things would have been if she never walked into his Throne on that day. Would he be signing more papers? Shaking more hands or having another council meeting? Did he prefer that over what was happening now?
It certainly would be less painful, but no...In a way, no this was what he wanted. His life had meaning now. He didn't enjoy the pain, or the hardship, or this feeling of anxiety in his stomach that came with wondering what was happening with Kiara. Or if she was even alive for that matter. He was able to be himself however, he was able to be like a free man again.
Thinking about it though, it would have been much nicer to have just had that meeting with the Fire Lord...
Taking a moment to think on it, he had to have been in a prison, one as hot as this though...Was this perhaps The Boiling Rock?
A bright light suddenly hit Naraca's eye's as a door directly in front of him opened with the shapes of what looked like two men. The one in front looked like he was being forced in by someone who was wearing plated armor. He could tell by the reflection off the polished armor. The one getting kicked in here however wasn't recognizable to Naraca from this distance.
"Who's there!?" Naraca called out to the two.
He wasn't afraid in any way, but this was more of a test to see how these two might react to his call. He remained calm and would see if there would be an answer or not.

Re: Pride
As the guard swung the door open intensely, Dachous eyes widened at the noise. Usually, if one were to hear such a loud noise so suddenly, it would cause one to jump, but Dachou, instead, just opens his eyes, to better see everything around him, and to be able to take in everything at a moments notice with his one useful eye. The guard shoved Dachou inside, where he voluntarily let his body go limp, and he fell forward, crashing into the ground, a layer of dust and dirt lifting up into the pitch black air.
But as he fell forward, his eye flashed to look at the man who was bound. The chained mysterious man who had asked who was there, but was unfortunate enoguh to receive no answer. He looked almost desperate, but unfittingly at ease, at the same time. Dachou didn't understand this Boulder. What was his story?
Which was another thing. It was dark beyond reason in the room. Why would they be not only cursed to be sent unconscious in the first place, but now they were forced to stay together in the dark. Two men. Bondage wasn't part of Dachous turn ons. Neither was the same gender, really. As Dachou collapsed, a menacing laugh echoed throughout the room.
"The Colonel will be here shortly. While you two are waiting, you can decide on your excuse on what you two were doing."
The guard laughed again, before shutting the door, once again, ferociously. He gave no remorse that this these two men were basically drowning in their own sweat. Dachou sat in the depressing cavern of darkness, sweat beginning to form on his forehead, as he held onto his sanity for dear life. He couldn't stand darkness. Always... Always, he needed a light source, and this place supported no light or fire whatsoever. And Dachou was too exhausted to light his own fire.
So he just sat there in silence, not knowing what to do, not knowing what to say. He didn't even know what he did. Since The Earth King, who was with the Avatar, was in the same room as him, Dachou assumed they suspected he had something to do with them, because he was trying to fight back from that maniac who blew up the building he had hidden in.
"So... What're you in for?"
Dachou asked this as blandly as he could, his voice bored and monotonic. But on the inside, he fought to keep from shouting out, from shouting at the world. Why did he have to be like this? He had one useable eye, and now his right to use it was taken away. The most he could see were the very faint outlines of the doorway, and his hands, when brought close enough to his face.
But now, he waited for Naraca to respond to his idiotic question, the answer obvious to both of them, but the poor soul just wanted to start something, and keep himself from blowing up.

Re: Pride
Between the darkness and the rather...Calm yet plain voice Naraca's new cell mate held, he was unable to tell who it was. The guard that threw him in though gave a few odd words. Although Naraca hadn't put his mind to it yet, he figured that the only logical possibility of being kept here was that The Fire Nation was going to war. By Pain doing what he did, the Fire Nation just declared war on the Earth Nation.
Yet what was confusing was that the guard told them to come up with a good excuse in a joking matter. Why though? Wasn't Naraca a hostage? Or a POW? Wasn't he being held for the sake of the Fire Nation having a leg up on on the war by holding the Earth Nation's King captive?
It didn't seem like it, they acted more like he was just a simple man who had committed a crime. Aside from the intense restraints, for the most part he was being treated as though he committed a crime. Perhaps it was just the excuse. Take the Earth King into the Fire Nation's custody and frame him for committing a crime in order to better justify this attack. If that was the case...Then this war would go down in history with the Earth nation looking like the war criminal's.
In time before The Fire Nation was the enemy, now did they just want to look better for this second war they were causing? Naraca wondered what the story would be for the attack on the Southern Water Tribe then.
Thinking back on it though, didn't Tikanni say that she saw only a single man during that attack? Could that have perhaps been Pain as well? So far Naraca has not seen a single fire Nation soldier, the only one he saw that started this all was Pain.
Was Pain the Fire Nation's tool? Some secret weapon they were hiding? Whatever the case, there were unanswered questions that would be hard to answer from the steel walls of a prison.
Upon the point where the boy was thrown into the room with Naraca he stayed quiet and watched. He couldn't see him, but he could hear the guy's breathing, just like Naraca's it was heavy from the hot air.
The question that came up after a few moments of silence was one Naraca didn't even know. Was he here as a hostage? A POW? A framed criminal?
He wasn't sure at all, so all he was able to come up with was:
"I don't know" He told the man in the darkness.
Thinking about it, the guard did address Naraca and this boy as though they were together in there crime. Since Naraca obviously wasn't with any other guys at the time, the only man this could be was that thief.
"Your the guy who took my money aren't you?" He asked him with a calm and casual voice.
Naraca didn't care about it anymore, this guy's just took a small amount from a much larger amount of cash Naraca had, he was just trying to put this all together.

Re: Pride
You don't know? You don't know?! Well that's just fan-fucking-tastic! Now, I don't have a plan to piggy-back off of, and you are screwed to the core! We might as well bend over for them, they have us so tight in our grasp!
Of course, Dachou said none of this aloud, because he didn't want his new prison buddy to hate him so soon after meeting. But he was tense, that was for sure. His surroundings were less than ideal, he was going to be interrogated by the head of The Boiling Rock Prison, which is where Dachou deduced they were, and he was stuck out of reach with his grandmother, who needed his income to keep hold of the shack that they called home.
But as Naraca asked him that question, he couldn't help but feel the corners of his mouth twitch into a condescending smile. That was what he was remembered for. For stealing this Earth Nation Officials wallet? That item of 'importance' was long gone in Pains fire storm. Dachou had been lucky enough to survive that in the first place.
"Why, yes, I am, Great Naraca of The Earthen World. I was the lowly middle-class boy who happened to steal the money from your pocket. But, unfortunately, I am unable to pay you back, due to the fact that that monster seen previously had it burned in my pocket."
Dachou raised his shackled wrist to his face, putting it so close to his face that he so very barely felt his nose against the hard metal. He had replied to Naraca rather harshly, but his unseen face registered no emotion, except sleepiness, for he was beyond tired. He looked at the faint outline of Naraca, and then back at the doorway, praying that the Chief would come and just end their suffering. Maybe let them go, have a nice dinner afterwards.

Re: Pride
Lowly middle-class boy...Naraca could identify with the words. Being a Nomad for the duration of his childhood though didn't even give him a home of his own or a middle-class status. Having to learn that the world could be made into your home, Naraca knew more then enough of the experience of having to steal in order to live.
Pulling his chains a little with his left arm, he figured that he could probably manage pulling them off. His forearms were raised up above his head and tightly wrapped. However the heavy chains were connected via inside the wall and most likely were apart of much large spools that where the chains were coming from. The locks that prevented the spools from being forced could probably have enough strength to hold back several burly men all pulling at once, perhaps even and elephant-dog wouldn't be able to break them.
Naraca however was rumored to have had the strength to push a mountain. While it was an over exaggeration, it was closer to the truth then one might think.
Breaking from these chains and into a prison as heavily guarded and fortified as this with a broken arm however wouldn't be very good odds.
If he were to escape, he would have to take some time to figure this place out, and...He couldn't do it alone.
This kid...He had a mouth on him alright. He seemed tough though, that lightning that shocked Naraca in the battle had to have come from this guy. A Fire bender who could use lightning had to be skilled, he had to be smart...
Putting aside the harsh tone Naraca just scoffed and gave out a small smile.
"Money doesn't matter right now" He remarked towards the boy.
Calling him "the boy" however was getting annoying.
"You got a name kid?" He asked him in his low and rough, growl sounding voice.

Re: Pride
Dachou nodded slowly, Naracas words soaking into the Fire benders thick skull. He would wait a few solid seconds, his eyes lazily looking around the room. Now, he could feel a small pool of hot sweat when he placed his palms on the earthen ground in front of him. This place was utter hell.
"Why yes, in fact, I do have a name. It is-"
The door to the cell creaked at first, and then a straight, thin line of light broke into the room, lighting up the far corner of the room.
"My name is about to be told. So sit tight, Earth King."
Dachou watched as the door continued to open slowly, and he stared as a relatively young guy walked in. He was cloaked in fancy Fire Nation armor, along with a helmet shoulder plates that bore different colored gems and metals. He looked quite proud of his many trophies. Dachou wondered how many men he had killed to receive that special armor plate.
"Hello, friends. How are you today?"
Dachou just stared, unresponsive. The man looked quite happy with himself, his smile spreading across his face, and at the corners of his face were crows feet, signaling the fact that he must smile quite a bit. So, he enjoyed his job of killing people.
"Anyways, now, can you please tell me why you two are here?"
The Chief snapped his finger fro over his shoulder and a guard scurried past him, pulling out a foldable chair from the clasp that was on his back and struggled to set up the furniture for an unnatural amount of time. Were those things really that hard to unfold? The Chief sat down, his smile still gleaming.
The guards that had entered with him began to light the torches that hung on the walls. Now, you could see rather clearly in the room, but it was still overall dim. Which didn't help Dachou very much.
"I, for one, have no idea why I'm here. I was brought here under false charges of helping people I don't know, and ask that I be released immediately."
Dachou stated his words clearly, loudly, crisp for all to hear. He wasn't here to mess around. He needed to get home. His grandmother depended on him too much for him to be jailed in the worst prison in the nation.

Re: Pride
No answer, seemed like he wanted to stay anonymous. Did he think he was going to be kicked out of here? The Fire Nation must had thought this thief was with Naraca. A thief or not, he didn't deserve to be here. He didn't need to be. It was unlikely he would be released though. Once the door's opened Naraca's eye's shot up and honed in on the light that came in.
A rather fresh faced young man walked in with a smug look on his face. He wore shiny armor that had a bunch of jewels on it. Naraca could already tell he wouldn't like this guy. Yet he kept his face calm and simple. Despite being in darkness his face looked rather casual yet with a hint of being serious underneath.
After sitting down on a chair that took far too long to fold, he asked why they were there. Naraca didn't even pay attention to when he asked how they were feeling as it was more of a joke, and the Earth King wasn't in a very joking mood.
Asking why they were there wouldn't solve anything.
The boy's request wouldn't be heeded either. This whole thing wasn't going to go anywhere. This was either the beginning of the interrogation, or the lead up to it.
"What are the charges against us?" Naraca replied after the thief had demanded he be released.
He knew the answer wouldn't release them, but he was still trying to figure out if this was some sort of attempt at framing the Earth Nation. Just to know what he was up agasin't and what he might have to answer for in the future in case they were in fact framing the Earth Nation and were going to spread the story around.

Re: Pride
The guard smiled warmly, giving off an eased presence to the two prisoners.
"Charges? Oh, nothing major. You and your friend here-"
"His friend has a name." Dachou barked. He glared at the Chief. Who was this man? Dachou refused to be called by anything other than his name by this creature who thought himself better than the two shackled men that sat before him. Dachou swore he would show him who he really was, and personally beat his ass into submission.
The Head snapped once again over his shoulder, and the guard hurried over, holding a piece of paper in his hand. The Chief snatched the paper out from the cowering guards hand, and peered at it intently.
"Right. Well, you and your friend Dachou here have committed the following acts of crime: Each of you have outwardly displayed destruction towards Fire Nation buildings, Dachou for attempting to shoot a crowd of people, both of you for attacking an unarmed Fire General, and the deaths of two people." The General read off the paper as if it was a grocery list; emotionless and matter of factly.
"Are you fucking kidding me?! I was SAVING those people from your God Damn General! And who the fuck said he was unarmed?! He was the one that took down those buildings! We did nothing! I repeat, We did nothing!" Dachou was on his feet, screaming by now. He figured he had talked enough for Naraca and himself at this point, but he didn't care. These assholes weren't figuring out what actually happened. They didn't know what happened.
All this was a mistake. They couldn't actually be arresting Dachou and Naraca. They.. They had no right. None. Naraca was an Earth King, he had to have some sort of Authority! Dachou turned his partially blind head and scowled at Naraca.
"What are you waiting for, Gorilla-Goat! Tell them!"

Re: Pride
Naraca glared at the high ranking officer as he maintained that smug grin and read through the charges. They weren't totally false, rather they were versions of the truth. A building was in fact destroyed, however it wasn't Naraca or the group that did it. This general though...So pain did work for the Fire Nation? He was a general, a very powerful general, but it made sense. So the Fire Nation sent him to defeat Kiara and her group in the Fire Nation capital so they could make it look like the Earth Nation had struck first.
The Earth Nation and the Fire Nation were the two more powerful countries, so for the Fire Nation to make the Earth Nation look like the enemy would possibly cause the other Nations to turn to the Fire Nation in order to combat the "treacherous" Earth Nation.
It made sense, it was cruel, and completely disregarded the Fire Nations sense of honor and nobility, not to mention how they basically were spitting on the graves of there ancestors who worked so hard to build and maintain this peace.
However...It was a good plan, and at this rate the Earth Nation could possibly have to defend it self against three Nations.
Pain would have to answer for this.
Naraca turned his eye's to Dachou as he strongly protested the charges and everything that was going on. The little thief had a mouth alright, and that mouth was gonna get him killed. Naraca and Dachou for the time being were considered war criminals officially, and war criminals typically get executed. Dachou's attitude wasn't making that come any slower.
"Calm down!!!" Naraca barked out loudly with a fiery roar in an attempt to interrupt Dachou right around where he said "Are you fucking kidding me?"
There was no need for that and if he continued the guards would have probably just dealt with him right then and there. Maybe not kill him but certainly torture him or perhaps throw him that cooler that the Fire benders seemed to hate. Naraca hoped that Dachou would settle down after Naraca's loud voice was heard so that the boy could save himself the pain that would come had he finished his rant.
Hopefully if Dachou had stopped after that Naraca would then be able to come in.
He already knew that it was unlikely that his status as the Earth King would hold any meaning, however it didn't hurt to try and use it.
"I am Naraca, current Earth King of the Earth Nation" He said calmly to the young official with the fancy clothes.
"As Earth King I demand to speak to the Fire Lord, these charges are false and clearly there's been a misunderstanding." He said before pausing for a moment, the word "Misunderstanding" was almost laughable. This was fully intentional by the Fire Nation.
"I was supposed to have a meeting with him today, he wanted to speak to me. So release us now and you can avoid a very serious political crisis" He ordered the smug fire bender. Naraca treated it as though they weren't being framed, but rather this was just a misunderstanding. He had a hunch that this wouldn't matter though, yet he tried to assert his power and make it clear. Even though if they were being framed for war crimes, officially, it didn't matter if he was king or not.
Yet...Didn't hurt to try.
Naraca couldn't help but think about Kiara, how it pained him so to have to be here. To have...Been unable to protect her so soon...He had a deep pain in his chest that he was hiding. He wanted to know she was safe, he wanted to break out of these chains and escape this prison and rescue her.
Like a hero of some kind...
Nah...He wasn't a hero though...Naraca was just a man.
He felt that she was still alive, his gut told him that. He'd have to get out, he'd have to find her. He was responsible for her life, for her well being, and even partly for raising her. He remembered her parents that gave him this honor.
He couldn't let them down, not so soon. At least give him a better chance ya know? Not like this, don't throw out the impossible odds so soon...
He remained chained however, just hoping he could get out of here perhaps with diplomacy for now.

Re: Pride
Dachou stood there, his face glistening with sweat as Naraca screamed for him to stop. He would listen to the Earth King. Just this once. He stayed standing, scowling horrifically at the Chief and the guard, who was now also standing, in a fighting stance, in case Dachou thought to attack. Piteous fools.
Now, the Chiefs smile twitched as Naraca spoke. But, his composure managed to overall stay the same. His eyes scanned the room, pausing at Dachous scornful face, then he turned to Naracas unnaturally calm look. His smile was cocky, unforgiving, as if he was saying Go ahead, say what you want. You cannot win against me.
"Ah, well, right now, The Fire Lord is absent. He is on a leave of absence while on his way to The Northern Water Tribes to hopefully make amends with the Tribesmen." The Chief looked down at his paper, then looked back up again. His words were flawless, ringing true to every common man. But, his words held a hint of lies, no man could pick up, unless they were a genius of amazing proportions. He looked at the both of them registering their emotions.
"Now, unless there are any more questions, you two will be given the basic clothing and necessities that prisoners are required."
Dachou looked at the Chief, registering every word, both true and false, and nodded slowly.
"How long will we be in here?" Dachou couldn't thing of another thing to say. He refused to lose, but right now, he was just waiting for his time to strike. He took a side glance at Naraca, wondering if his highness was calling it quits, or if he would fight on full force.

Re: Pride
Naraca frowned at the chiefs response and he just turned his head away and mouthed the words "dammit" as he felt a small spike of rage that he felt run up his body and cause him to take a breath. So this was it then, this was the start of a war...
The Chief didn't address the demand but just spoke of the Fire Lord being absent despite the fact that he had said that he would attend a meeting with Naraca when he arrived.
He knew that, and he knew that the chief knew that. This was it then, Naraca and Dachou were going to be staying in here.
Eventually they would be released from this room, when that happens then he'd have to begin working on a plan of escape.
Dachou's question of how they would be in there though was sad to hear. This kid who was just caught in the wrong place at the wrong time is now in prison for a crime he didn't commit. They would be here for too long was the right answer, that, or they would stay here until they'd get executed, used as ransom or in some way for the coming war effort.
There wasn't much else Naraca could do, he had no power here now. This had just become a war, and he was in the hands of the enemy.
Once they were asked if they had anymore questions, Naraca had one more thing to say.
"So is this what you want? A war?" Naraca asked the chief.
"The peace your...Ancestors fought so hard and died for to just be tainted like this? Do you really want The Fire Nation to be responsible for thousands of deaths again?" Naraca asked the chief with a tone of calm sincerity with a hint of anger underneath to make him sound firm yet like he was trying to speak to the deeper person that the chief had.

Re: Pride
"A war? Oh, no, no, no. This isn't a war. This is child's play. This is not a war. In fact, this is just a group of uneducated civilians who think they have what it takes to defeat the Fire Nation. My ancestors, you do not know what they wanted. Peace is only temporary. You cannot have it without having war. It does not exist without war. And the Fire Nation is never responsible for these deaths. It is merely the faults of those who put those lives at risk."
The Warden clapped his palms onto his knees, pushing himself off of his rear end and making it to a stand. He stood like a soldier, tall, confident in his abilities, his chin raised ever so slightly, dictating what he thought of himself and what he thought of other people. That they were a waste of time, and he was the only sensible one within a 50 mile radius.
"Now, your supplied will be here shortly, Naraca. You there-" The Warden shot his pointed finger at Dachou, his face serious, "come with us back to your cell."
Dachou nodded slowly, before taking one final look at Naraca, his face registering a small amount of pain, and some form of sadness. For himself or the Earth King, though, he would never tell. The Firebender turned back to the Warden, and looked at the door. It was all clear, finally opening again, the light from the prison almost blinding (Too late for Dachou, it seems), and he began to make his first step. But, he stopped.
"Uh, Warden, sir, I'd, uh, much rather stay in here. Cozy, you know? It reminds me of my old bedroom. Dark, damp, don't know what the hell just made that noise." Dachous face was stark white, and he was almost shivering from fear at what he was looking at. No way. No fucking way would he move. What if it attacked? That thing was HUGE.
"What is wrong with you?! Come, I said!" The Warden shouted. He whipped his arm, a string of Fire Releasing from his balled fist. But Dachou wasn't concerned about that. In fact, he didn't even realize it was there. He was too concerned about what sat on the doorway, upside down, seemingly staring at the Firebender, paralyzing him. It was a monstrous spider. To Dachou, it was the size of his head. To everyone else, it was the size of any average, nonlethal spider.
Dachou began to take a step back, his eyes trained on the spider, his whole body now shivering, and his sweat was a mix of heat consumption and fear juice. He would not go anywhere near that bug. No way in hell would he even think to go near it. Those things were monsters of the deep, threatening Dachous every move, his every choice. Everything Dachou did was, in a way, a way to avoid those demons.
"Earth King! Warden! Anyone! Just kill it! Show it no mercy!" Dachou yelped as he clung to the wall farthest from the spider. He couldn't bear to be within 20 feet of that monster. He wouldn't bear it.

Re: Pride
Naraca turned his head away from the chief after the man's response. This was wrong, there was no need for it. Why would they want this after so much effort was put into preserving peace. Were some of Naraca's bodyguards going to pop out and yell "Surprise!" and just pass it off as a cruel joke? Sadly there wasn't any smiling faces, no confetti or silly string. There was just the intense heat, the heartless Fire Nation and a chief who seemed to think this was good for there country.
Although he knew he couldn't, he felt the urge to pull these chains off right now, smash through these gates and take the chief by his throat and use him as a hostage. It wouldn't work though, and he knew it. He would have to wait, take his time, watch the soldiers, watch the prisoners, study and remember the patterns. He would escape, and he had a feeling that he would be taking a couple people with him.
The Earth king shook his arms and legs on at a time due to a small tingling feeling he started to feel in them. His arms were getting a little numb from being above his head for so long. His back practically stuck to the hot metal of the wall from the sweat.
There was alot that was about to come, Dachou was the first one to express this.
Naraca got a puzzled look on his face as he witnessed a powerful fear in Dachou's eye's as he was looking in Naraca's general direction. He looked down at his chest for a moment before looking back up at the terrified thief. Was there something on his face? Naraca didn't feel anything.
Looking closer though he saw the faintest shadow that was hanging just above the top of the door frame.
A spider?
A disapproving sigh came from the black haired man's lungs as he watched the boy's terror. He hoped that his fear of...Spiders wouldn't get in the way of any escape plans.

Re: Pride
"What? Oh-" The Warden looked around furiously, then his face softened as he witnessed the spider wriggling. His eyes flashed to Dachou then back at the insect. "-this thing. Well, unless you were to follow us out to your cell. We can arrange for there to be plenty more where those came from." It was like making a deal with a five year old. Anything seemed good to them, as long as the sole antagonist was out of the question.
Dachou basically collapsed onto his elbows and legs, and began to army crawl. He swore under his breath as he neared the door. What if the monster decided to drop down on his back? He would have no way of knowing if it did or not. So he just laid there, just staring up at the spider, its flailing legs almost invisible, their width extremely small.
"Oh for heavens sake!" The Warden stomped towards the door, swatting his hand at the spider and pressing it against the wall, crushing the arachnid to death. Then, wiping his palm on his uniform, he grabbed the collar of Dachous neck, pulling the Firebender up. The young man got up, before shoving the Warden off of him.
"Shove off, asshat!" Dachou raised his voice at the Warden, but before he even turned back towards the door, the other guard had sent a punch right at his jawline, sending Dachou to the ground in pain and shock. He crouched there, confused on what just happened.
"Learn your manners, fool!" The Warden bellowed, his eyes sharp and narrowed at Dachou. Dachou stared at the ground, his eyes shaking, his mind unknown which emotion to form. Then, the emotion set. His eyes narrowed, and he pulled himself up so he sat on his ankles, his knees bent.
"Don't ever call me a fool..." Dachou hissed, and slowly, a small flame began to spiral in Dachous palm. He was going to try. At least one shot. He hasn't even been here more then a day and he already hated it. He tried to twist his body to throw his spiral, but it was too late, the Warden had sent a damaging kick to Dachous midsection, sending him sprawling once again. This wasn't a regular prison. This was straight up abuse.
The Warden grabbed Dachous collar once again, before hiking him up to his feet, and forcing him out of the room. The Wardens face was red with anger. He looked around at the room, and his eyes rested at Naraca, peering right into the Earth Kings eyes, also. The Wardens eyes showed only hate, bitterness. No compassion, no kindness, nothing.
"Do not expect a fair interrogation, or one even at all. Thanks to your friend here, you two shall be watched closer then the highest security criminals here! And remember my words that I do not punish lightly. The foods here will be the least of your worries!"
With that, The Warden shoved the other guard out of the room, slamming the door shut, the torches on the walls still lit, though their dying light would not hold out for much longer.

Dachou's fear of spiders seemed to be huge. However he had guts, he wasn't afraid of the guards attempts at being intimidating. He didn't submit to them and resisted at every turn despite the pain. Stubbornness like that could used, however would it be used against him rather then for him?
He could only wait until these chains were removed so he could walk around the prison a little and try and get his bearings. Once Dachou was thrown in Naraca looked towards the thief. The boy didn't need to be here, there was no reason for it. He had terrible luck, but he was far from deserving of this cruel place.
"I'm sorry you got caught up in this" He told Dachou with some level of silence as he didn't want the guards to hear.
"We're gonna get outta here somehow" He said trying to reassure him that it would be alright.
This boy was a good bender, and even with no earth here Naraca was more then a match for these guards and the prisoner's. They would survive, the only question was how to escape.

Re: Pride
Dachou stayed silent for a moment, his eyes closed, waiting. He strained himself, listening intently to outside the door. It was silent right as soon as the door shut closed. Usually footsteps fade into nothingness. The wardens footsteps had stopped, so either he disappeared, or was waiting behind the door for them to speak. Dachou wouldn't even give the satisfaction of opening his mouth.
Finally, after a few minutes, his footsteps echoed away into nothingness. Dachous eyes shot open, his eyes darting, staring crazily at Naraca. Slowly, the young man pulled himself up into a sitting position, groaning from his back being horribly in pain.
"Oh of course we're going to get out of here. Why do you think I've been so silent? I've been trying to figure out how to get the hell out of here. The Warden is a Princess. He likes glory, he likes fame, he likes the spotlight. He needs people paying attention to him, that's his weakness. He likes everyone listening to him. We take that, use it to our advantage, and bing bang boom, we're home free."
Dachou said everything as if it was obvious. The way the Warden held himself, the way he acted, it was pretty obvious, actually, if your mind was as bright and intelligent as his. But, sadly, not many were. So, he sat there, his feet sticking out towards the bars, and his eyes rolled around boredly. His hands clutched his stomach tightly, as if he might puke, but his face remained calm, emotionless, tired.
"So, Hotshot, you got any ide-" Dachou was cut off as the door began to open. As it creaked open, a swarm of guards entered, all wearing masks and protective armor, taking heed of the warning about Naracas strength. One guard boldly pushed through the crowd, and reached the other side of the bars, holding two pairs of standard prison wear. The guard stared at them through his mask, and just through that look, Dachou had heard a mouthful.
The Guard slowly grabbed the door to the bars, before pulling the door open.
"Hold still, prisoners, I will not hesitate to blow your heads off!" The guard commanded as he stepped into the cell. He held up a pair of keys, and shook them, immediately getting Dachou attention. The young man shot up, before wavering for a second, his head suddenly getting extremely heavy. It was one of those things that happened when you get up extremely fast, he was sure. He couldn't have been hurt from a silly punch.
Dachou shoved his wrists into the guards face, his shackles dull and dark. The guard grabbed Dachous arm, and pulled it downwards slightly, before shoving the key into its lock, and the metal cuffs collapsed onto the ground. "Change." He commanded.
"Wait what?"
"Change."
"But... there are people here..."
"We're not leaving you alone anymore. Change or you will be hurt." The guard yelled without even facing Dachou. He was to busy aiming to unshackle Naraca. He just barely reached above the prisons head to the contraptions that wrought Naracas wrists still, and he quickly unlocked them, allowing the Earth King free reign. This of course, was still subjective, because he would also be forced to change in the company of all these lethal people.
"Change." The guard commanded to Naraca, his eyes shaking behind the mask. He began towards the door, and waiting there, staring at the two benders menacingly.

Re: Pride
Bing bang boom? If only it were so easy. There was admiration in his intelligence though. He acted stubborn and stupid but Naraca knew a smarty when he saw them. Naraca had noticed the wardens love for fancy clothes but the extent of saying that the man was a control freak made sense although Naraca's mind hadn't come up with it yet.
Dachou must have been smart, however he was obnoxious and rude. So he was smart, but he lacked experience and wisdom.
Naraca stayed quiet as he talked and when he asked for Naraca input the door had already slammed open with several armored guards that came rushing in. The sounds of there metal boots clicking against the metal ground as they marched in. They must have been coming to move them, or kill them. Naraca's light brown eye's honed on the soldiers as they walked in. His eye's were narrow and his lips tightened together. This gave him the appearance of a lion watching his prey as they scurried around.
Dachou who stood and protested them by getting in there way with his cuffs in front of him. The guard responded as though irritated yet tensed as he unlocked the shackles and told the boy to change his clothes. The entire time the guard was looking at Naraca, who was staring right back as his prey.
The man first unlocked the cell door, the hinges creaking as he slowly opened it. All the guards had there fists pointed towards the large chained beast. At any moment they were fully prepared to unleash a full fire bended assault of flame.
Several guards rushed in the cell once it opened and they all circled Naraca with fists at the ready. Naraca however kept his eye's on the guard with the keys. These men were tense, some even shaking. They must know who Naraca is and what he's capable of.
With this serious injustice, the corruption and the lies of these Fire Nation men. With it all, and them inside this...Cage with him. It was walking into the lions den. Naraca didn't think about it at first but now that they were inside, he found himself feeling a deep rage...
The guard with the keys slowly unlocked the locks that held Naraca's limbs against the wall. He then walked over towards a small switch on the wall which he flicked with his finger. In a quick motion the chains unraveled from the spools inside the wall and they were pulled down by Naraca's weight as he began to fall to the floor. The chains fully unraveled before Naraca landed on one knee. His head hung down, his black hair covering his face, his arms were straightened out with his palms on the hot floor.
He stayed on his knee, taking slow, deep breaths. When he exhaled though, he let out a quiet growl from his throat. It was a deep and resounding noise that sounded like the warning signs of an enraged tiger.
All the guards took a slow step back as they gave the large man a bit more room. He was larger then he appeared when on the wall and being on the floor and on one knee his body was very close to the guards.
They maintained there stances as they kept there eye's and fists locked on the Earth king.
Naraca growled a little more as he rested on his knee. His right arm stung a bit. However, there was nothing more dangerous then a cornered beast with an injury.
Slowly, he lifted his other leg up, placing his foot down on the ground. His hands moved to his sides and rose up. His hair slowly parting from his face as he rose higher with his long height. He towered above the guards and was twice there size. His body was surrounded by scars, his muscles all budged out and massive in tone and mass.
He was large, strong and could rip these men to shreds with just one arm if he wanted to. This cell would become the killing floor for a bloodbath. If he decided to turn on them, they would need to install a drain on the floor to wash all the blood down.
Naraca's fingers were bent slightly, giving them the appearance of claws, the veins in his arms began to push against the inside of his skin. This combination of veins, scars, muscles, dirt and sweat gave him the appearance of a wild and dangerous beast. Yet to him, he was just wearing his normal clothes.
His eye's were still covered by his wild black hair, his mouth looked calm, making him appear like a sociopath. The guards even felt the need to take another step back for the sake of there own safety.
The guard with the keys told Naraca to change, followed by dropping his prisoner clothes on the floor.
Naraca however didn't even look at them. His eye's were still covered so they couldn't tell if he saw it or not, causing the guard with the keys to kick the clothes over to his feet from the little distance they were able to get from the raged animal.
He thought about it for a moment, killing them all here and now. It would be so easy to, that armor just made them canned meat, there fire bending would just him cook the raw flesh if he ever would so choose.
It would be so easy...
Yet...Naraca was a better man then that...
He would have to get undressed to get those clothes on, he wouldn't be able to wear them over his left arm that wore a tight sleeve. Nor over his shorts or the long sash. Dachou was a boy who was uncomfortable with the idea, but they would have to take clothes off. Naraca couldn't care less about doing so.
Naraca's right arm, although in pain grabbed the sleeve that was wrapped around his left arm which was meant to hold the armor on his arm. He pulled it off and dropped it on the floor. Followed that, he untied the sash from his waist, causing it to fall to the floor and his shorts to sag slightly on his waist.
He placed both his hands on the black tank top that he wore against his body. However when he tried to pull it off his right arm stung more and more in pain. He bit the bullet however and rose his arms up to pull off his sweaty tank top. His strong abdomen, chest and back were revealed with a slight glisten from the sweat of combat. His hair flipped up and his tank top was lifted up and over his head.
His body was beyond musclular, if you were to have skinned a man alive to see there muscular system, you would see every single muscle that you were able to see on Naraca. His body was strong, he was built like a true animal of war. His tanned light brown skin was riddled with scars that decorated his body.
He then used his big strong hands and dug both his thumbs underneath the waist of his shorts. He pushed his shorts down, letting them trail down his legs before lifting his powerful legs up and out of the legs of his shorts. His legs were no different from the rest of his body, they were thick, muscular and big. Despite his overall large size, his abdomen and waist were slightly slender, making not appear like a body builder that was "Fat" with muscle. Naraca's body was gifted with strength beyond measure and to top it off, he body was large indeed, but not quite to the point of being ridiculous.
All he wore now was a pair of black boxer shorts.
Although the guards were remained at the ready, it was likely that even they could feel the testosterone emitting from this large man's jaw dropping body. It was truly like a museum of history when seeing him like this. Every scar had a story, a past that it carried. Each one a signature of battle, or failure, some however symbolizing victory.
He bent down to grab the red prisoners shirt. He held it in his left hand and just stared for a moment.
"I'll get out of here...And I'll find you Kiara, where ever you are" He thought to himself before taking the shirt and slipping it on the loose fitting fabric.
The red pants followed as he pulled them up his pants. He wouldn't be taking off his boxers to change though (Sorry ladies) instead he left them on and just pulled his pants up.
Now it was Dachou that was next.
"It's alright Dachou, put the clothes on" He told the boy from his cell. Now standing in place and waiting for him.

Re: Pride
Damn, this man was something. Dachou stared, open mouthed, as Naraca just threw his clothes off. Dachou felt he basically had no shame whatsoever in going mostly naked in an environment full of people just staring. Dachou is going to die at the thought.
Then.. His scars. Naraca basically held a museum on his back alone. Dachou guessed that he had probably been a soldier of some sort before, because why would the Earth King fight at all? So, this man had some history then, being in the front lines most likely. His muscles were almost scary to look at, they were so big. They could probably(Most likely) snap Dachou in half.
Naracas past though, was once again hidden as he slipped on the dull red shirt. It offered no imagination whatsoever, as it was a prison uniform. Now, though, the spotlight was on him. It took a moment to realize that Dachou held the clothes tightly in his hand, and was staring into space. He jumped a bit, surprised that everyone was staring at him, waiting for him to unclothe himself.
"I know how to change!" Dachou hissed at Naraca. He wasn't a five year old. He knew how to put a pair of clothes on. He glared at Naraca, before turning back at the guards, his face once again pale. Now, he felt like a five year old. Now, he felt like curling up in a ball under his blanket while he read ghost stories of the past. That was what he wanted at the moment. But alas, it was to far away.
"Don't look..." Dachou mumbled as he made his way to the corner of the cell. The guard groaned 'you've gotta be kidding me...' as Dachou faced the wall, his face stiff with fear as he turned to face it. He began to unclothe himself, his pants coming off first. He grabbed the waist of his pants, the elastic being pulled on its its extent as Dachou shoved it down his legs, finally pulling his right foot out of the turmoil first, then his left.
His legs were nice and toned, not huge and monstrous like Naracas, but his were clearly defined in his legs. He tossed his pants aside quickly, before releasing the feet of the prison uniform so he could properly fit his legs into their fit. He did not like this feeling at all, of being watched while his lower regions were bare. And yes, Dachou happened to go commando that day, for he didn't think he'd be doing anything. So his bare butt was displayed for everyone to see, unfortunately, and he resented not taking 40 seconds out of his life to put them on.
Now, though, was the more comfortable part of changing, so he took a step back, and allowed himself some breathing space. Dachou then grabbed the opposite sides of his shirt with his hands, from the bottom, and began pulling his shirt off. As he did, there was definitely a wave of misinterpretation from him. Usually, do it Dachous excessive laziness and refusal to do anything that required physical exertion, one would come to believe he had no visible muscles or definition in his body.
That obviously wasn't the case.
Dachous sleek and slender body proved that muscles of great proportion were able to hide under clothes quite easily. Each of his muscles had definition, but didn't bulge out excessively. They were defined, small, but powerful. He had the appearance of one who took practice of multiple physical activities daily, for years. But, Dachou really didn't eat a lot of unhealthy things. They weren't really his taste.
His body was a perfect combination that would allow power yet agility and speed. Each muscle in his body was defined articulately, but to some extent. They were nowhere near as large as Naracas. He had a completely different body type from the giant. But his, they were definitely noticeable in a crowd. His pecs laid flat against his chest, but if you were to actually look, the different between the muscle and the bone was very evident.
His abs showed clearly through his skin, just begging for some girl to go on her knees to 'examine them.' His biceps and triceps were a perfectly sculpted for powerful punches and heavy lifted, as were his deltoids. He had that 'perfect v' down under that proved the ultimate sexy line.
Dachou felt everyones eyes on him, and his face reddened slightly. He looked around, and began to put his shirt on over his head, covering up every women's dream come true in a man. He really didn't feel very comfortable about his body. He turned around to face the guards and Naraca.
"Let's get to it, I suppose."
"Good, now, follow us, you two will be escorted to your rooms." The guard nodded, heading out the door. Dachou followed solemnly, his eyes wandering the room, everything suddenly interesting, yet only one of his eyes processed the information. The other eye just showed little to no color distinction between everything.
The guards pushed Dachou and Naraca out of the room slowly, almost crowding around them, squeezing the breath out of Dachou. Dachou didn't like crowds. Too many people in one place made anyone nervous. He hesitated ever so slightly, and the guard behind him pushed him aggressively. Dachou scowled at him. THe man was probably pissed that he didn't get to see all of Dachou today. Maybe some day.
The guards began to walk up the stairs, their formation impeccable. Dachou couldn't spot anything to foil about them. They were the perfect group. He groaned. These men were too good. But all in due time, would Dachou figure out a way to outsmart these people. He always did.
Dachou watched closely as the guard stopped at the top of the stairs, a door hung open.
"Naraca Barnetson, this will be your quarters. Two guards will be outside your door at all times, ensuring that you do not leave. Goodbye."
The guards behind Naraca began to push him forward. They were not having fun with that. Before the guards even started trying to get Naraca into the cell, the group began to move once again, this time heading down the hall to Dachous room. Naracas room sat on the third story, right in front of the stairs, and next to the balcony overlooking the small room for prisoners to socialize when they weren't allowed outside.
Then..

Re: Pride
Dachou's response to Naraca's comment was a harsh reply. Naraca's eye's just narrowed at it, was this going to become a pattern of his? He shrugged it off for now but made a mental note of his lack of cooperation. While he would appreciate the constructive criticism from an intelligent person, if Dachou acted like this he would no doubt refuse plans if they didn't go exactly his way even if his own plans may have flaws. He could disagree at every turn with an attitude like this which would cause a serious hole in team work and trust. He started paying attention to Dachou's personality and mannerisms a little more, just to get a sense of who he was. It would help in trying to convince him to be a better comrade. However Naraca would have his eye's on prisoner's as well. Being an Earth King with loads of money was a good bargaining tool.
Naraca looked away from Dachou as he was getting changed, honoring the boy's wish in not wanting to be seen despite all the other soldiers not following the same action. As he waited his mind briefly had a flash of images of Kiara and Coto again.
He hoped that they were okay.
Once Dachou was finished changing the guard ordered them to fall in line within the crowd of guards and go to there rooms.
Was Naraca getting an ordinary cell? Those solid steel doors were strong but they weren't enough, the large man knew a regular cell would not hold him. Then again, with his broken arm he wasn't really sure. He never personally tested the strength of the cells so for all he knew maybe he would be surprised. As unlikely as that was.
Being surrounded with men that had there fists trained on the Earth King, he began to follow the group as ordered by the guard.
With Naraca's hand to his sides one of the guards took a moment to grab his arms and cuff his wrists behind his back with shackles before they went outside.
Naraca's felt his face twitch a little in pain from his broken right arm being yanked by the guard. He needed a splint of some kind, and a way to rest his arm. Like it or not he wasn't going to be using it. The fact he still was only ran the risk of making it much worse. Were Kiara here she might have been able to heal it...
The broken bone in his upper arm was slightly pushing against the nerves and muscle on his arm, causing a small lump to form just below his shoulder. The pain was increasing, anyone else would be screaming. Yet Naraca was able to keep his mouth shut. He had to be careful, as it is he probably already had an infection in his body.
He wasn't sure how he felt about telling the guards about his arm. They could just further injure it. They do need him alive though so it's unlikely they would let the coming infection kill him.
He wouldn't say anything right now though, not to these soldiers.
Walking out of that room finally they were taken across a hallway. Naraca took in as much as he could. The room they were in must have been in the lower levels if they were going upstairs and because he was hearing the sounds of machines down below before the guards came in.
They walked up more stairs, moving over to the cell grounds that was above the lower levels. They walked up more stairs before getting off at the third floor. There Naraca and Dachou would bear witness to main holding cells. The place was bigger then a warehouse and had several cells on every floor. Once brought up the stairs Naraca and the others were met by a railing on there left side that over looked the common area's where several other prisoner's were mingling about.
All of them were looking up to the second floor walk way and could see the heads of the guards, followed by the chest, shoulders and head from Naraca who towered over them.
They continued to walk across the cells on there right side. They then had to walk up another set of stairs to get to the third floor.
Right at the apex of the staircase was the first cell. It was at that point that one of the guards grabbed the chain of the Earth King's shackles and yanked backwards, forcing a spike of pain from Naraca and his immediate halt in movement.
His full name was uttered before he was told that this was his cell.
So this was wear he would spend his time now...Alone in this cell...
He was accustomed to solitude but still...It wasn't pain that he didn't want but rather the numbness that came with it. When undergoing pain overall it came with a numbness that deprived him of strong feelings that one's heart would pool out. This made him feel more like a monster.
Although he would be okay and was more then used to this there was still...He kinda wished that he at least that could have someone here. A trusted friend or something like that.
In the distance Naraca could hear the struggling of some guards. He thought nothing of it as he took a step forward and drew closer to his cell.
"Get it under control!!" One guard yelled in the distance.
"It?" Naraca thought to himself briefly.
His eye's narrowed as he stopped for a moment to listen.
The guard behind him frowned and pushed against his back.
"Move prisoner!" The guard behind Naraca ordered.
Naraca took another step forward in response, now standing right in the door frame of the cell, his one leg in and the other outside.
"It's too strong!!" A guard cried as he replied to the order that was given just a second ago.
Naraca turned his head a little more towards the argument. Why did they keep saying "It"? Were they just that cruel to the prisoners to just call them things rather then people or were they struggling with something else?
The sound of a growling dog then faintly echoed before a loud bark.
Naraca gasped followed by his eye's widening slightly. He turned around and shouldered the guard aside so he could walk back out and see what made that noise.
The Earth King breathed deeply as he saw what it was.
"Coto!!!" He cried out as he saw none other then Coto with several guards holding chains that were wrapped tightly around him. Yet he was on all fours and violently shaking his body side to side and pulling the guards around as they fought for control and kept trying to pull Coto off his feet so they could drag him on his body.
The guard that was yelling orders held a whip made of flame and was whipping at the wolfs legs and trying to force him down.
Coto growled and roared in pain and anger as he struggled and tried to break free from the chains with his strong but pained legs.
Naraca's eye's narrowed with anger, his teeth pushed against each other and his open hands turned into fists.
"Get in your cell now!!" The guard who was shouldered demanded with a strong voice and pointed his fist at Naraca and bending a fire ball in front of his knuckles to warn the giant man.
Naraca's wrists began to push against his shackles, his shoulder grew larger.
"Damn you" He thought to himself and his lips pushed together to make a thin white line.
The sounds of metal clinking and even cracking came from the shackles.
"I said get in your cell now or I WILL use FORCE!!!" The guard barked at Naraca before the other guards turned to point there fists at Naraca.
"How dare you..." Naraca mumbled to himself before hanging his head down and his hair covering his face.
The guard took an instinctive step back.
However that was no where near enough now.
Naraca's shoulders flexed, bulged and coiled with powerful muscle. His right arm screamed in pain.
The chain that held his wrists together snapped like a twig with a loud metal ping and Naraca's arms spread out and his shackles were broken from his wrists.
The guards all made an attempt to shoot however they hesitated for just a moment since they needed Naraca alive.
In that same split second Naraca took a big step forward before jumping up, his bare foot landing on top of the railing before he made a great leap. His body flying through the air as though it was meant for flight.
All the prisoners on the common grounds just looked up in awe as they saw the man they had no idea was the earth king now flying through the air with his great jump.
There were no words to spoken, not for these men.
The guards trying to control Coto barely noticed the coming beast except for one. He heard the commotion as his hands tightly gripped the chains.
He turned his armor protected head, only to see...Not a man flying through the air towards him. No that's not what he saw...
It was a massive white lion that looked like a cross between an elephant in size and a lion in it's ferocious fangs and massive claws with a long, black mane to boot. This was not what everyone else would see, rather it was this man's greatest fear coming straight for him in what felt like slow motion.
Extending his leg out Naraca rammed his foot into the guard in mid-air. The soldiers armor caved in with Naraca's foot ramming through and sent the man right into the thick steel wall that bent with a loud metal ring as the steel molded around the man's body from the immense impact.
The rest of the guards were more then shocked, one even gave out a high pitched scream through his helmet.
Naraca rushed to one of the guards with the chains and rammed a straight punch with his left arm into the man's face. His helmet caved in and Naraca directed his fist downwards so the guards body slammed into the ground.
The third guard that was closest to the wall let go of the chain to fire bend. He turned his body to face Naraca with his arm extended and his fist made. However Naraca darted right for him and caught his wrist before pulling him in so that the guard's back was given.
The Earth King slammed an open palm into the guards elbow and snapped the bone in half as well as the armor before lifted the man up by his broken arm, pulled back, then tossed him straight for the guard with the fire whip.
The body collided right into the soldier with the whip and they both were sent flying down the the path of balcony and down the stair case.
Coto who was still in serious pain had his eye's closed almost the whole time as a pain response from the intensity of having his legs whipped by flame again and again. When he opened his eye's however, he saw who made the pain stop. Right away however Naraca rushed for Coto and placed both his hands on the wolves cheeks.
"Coto! It's me, calm down buddy just calm down" He said softly as he held Coto's cheeks firmly.
Coto tried to whip his head side to side and break free. He was scared and in pain. He growled to warn whoever it was but it was just out of fear rather then anger.
"It's okay, It's okay buddy it's okay" He said kindly before placing his forehead on Coto's forehead. He closed his eye's and held the large wolves head to his so Coto could remember and feel who it was. He could feel the wolf's body shake from the pain.
Coto tried to struggle and little more but he realized who it was and slowly began to stop growling. He let out a whine as he pushed against Naraca's head. Naraca felt the dogs weight and pushed his head right against Coto's.
"I'm here buddy...I'm here" He whispered before he moved his hands up Coto's head and interlocked his fingers over top the wolfs head and used his forearm's to hug the large dog as he kept his forehead on him.
Coto whined and moaned in pain as his body calmed down and he pushed most of his weight on Naraca to rest his burning legs.
Naraca stayed strong for him, despite the heavy stinging pain he felt on his right forearm which was also broken and was out of place from resting on Coto's head. He held in his pain though to comfort the poor guy.
Fire Nation guards quickly ran up the stairs, all heavily armored and there were several of them. Their heavily armored boots made loud claps against the steel stairs as they rushed up to the third floor.
Naraca heard them and knew they were gonna be here any second now.
He kept holding Coto's head with his arms but took his forehead off so he could look the animal in the eye's. Coto's eye's opened at the same time Naraca's did, being able to just sense his body language by just feeling his touch.
"Listen, I'm gonna get us outta here okay?" He told his dear friend, using his pained right arm to slide down the wolfs head and cup his cheek.
"You gotta stay strong for me, you gotta stay strong." He continued to speak in his far more sweeter yet heavy voice as he had to take deep, struggling breaths to take the pain that his arm was giving him.
As if reading Naraca mind, Coto's eye's turned to the man's arm, knowing he was in serious pain from just hearing him breathing and seeing the weakness in his right arm even as he tried to cup the wolfs cheek.
Coto used his nose to push Naraca's right arm away from his cheek and started to lick Naraca's arm. The gentle touch gave Naraca a smile on his face.
"Hey...I'll be okay" He said with a small joyous laugh.
"They won't kill me, but Coto listen, they won't have any problems about killing you. So please don't resist them" He implored Coto with a voice of desperation as he didn't want anything to happen to the big lug.
Coto's continued to fondly lick Naraca's arm as if he was trying to heal his arm with just his tongue alone. He listened to him though, took in the words of the fellow animal.
The fire nation guards rushed up to the third floor and sped down the walkway to meet Naraca and Coto. The guards were on both sides and covering the exits. Boxing the two of them in.
"Step away from the dog and lie down on the ground or we will use force!!!" The guard barked at the top of his lungs and several other guards were ready to unleash a hellfire at a moments notice.
Coto's eye's turned to them and he began to growl at them and show his teeth. However Naraca pulled Coto's head back down to face him.
"No, no don't fight them. I know it's hard, but if they lose patience then Kiara will lose you." Naraca almost begged Coto not to fight. The loss of Coto would be too huge for her, and the southern water tribe to bear.
"I said step away from the dog now!!"
Coto made a small growl again but quickly stopped himself. He understood, although as much as he wanted to sink his teeth into these guards and throw them everywhere like rag dolls, he knew Naraca was right.
"We'll get outta here okay?"
"Naraca!! This is your FINAL warning."
"Stay strong buddy"
"Step away from the dog"
"Just trust me"
"Or we WILL use force!!!" The guard barked even as Naraca was talking under the guards voice.
Coto nodded his head followed by making a low whine.
Naraca smiled as a reply. He nodded his head and well before he slowly lifted his arms up to surrender to the guards.
He didn't want to take a step back, he wished he could stay here and protect Coto but...He had to...
He took a slow step back, his eye's focusing only into Coto's eye's. More steps were taken before he stopped and slowly got down on his knees.
Once on his knees one of the guards kicked Naraca's back and forced him down to the ground before they all crowded around him and started kicking and stomping him.
Coto could only watch in horror as they roughed Naraca up, he whined but remembered Naraca's words. He had to trust him now.
He didn't move as one of the guards shot Coto with a tranquilizer dart and forced him to fall into a deep sleep.
Naraca just stayed in place, taking the pain of the beatings until the guards would feel it was enough.
Naraca looked away from Dachou as he was getting changed, honoring the boy's wish in not wanting to be seen despite all the other soldiers not following the same action. As he waited his mind briefly had a flash of images of Kiara and Coto again.

Re: Pride
Dachou sighed, his eyes closed. He really did not want to be here right now. These people were talking crazy right now. Being major dicks to the prisoners, not specifying their genders. I mean, what is this, calling a prisoner it?[/] Completely inconsiderate. It was as if these guards had no respect for living-
Holy shit. It wasn't a person.
Dachous eyes snapped open, and his head turned to the railing, and took a step towards it, the guards preoccupied with the sudden large disturbance. And right there was a huge mother-fucking wolf. I mean, really? I wolf in a prison? Did they expect to treat it like the other inmates?
Dachou shook his head, trying to process what was happening. What was that dog doing here? He looked at it, noticing its gashes and it's appearance. It took a few seconds but the image of this wolf clicked together with the wolf that was with the Earth King and Avatar. So they brought the canine here?
He stared down at the dog, watching it struggle. These people were going all out on the poor animal. The creature only acted upon instinct. Animals didn't have the natural ability to think things through, and understand the consequences of things immediately. They were bred for natural instinct, not hard-core thinking.
Dachou stared, his right left eye absorbing the horrific scene. If only at least one of the guards did something about it. Then he would at least rest at peace.
The Firebender basically wet himself, the loud snap of the handcuffs was deafening. He turned his head to Naraca, and watched as the Earth King basically flew towards the guards. His eyes widened along with the aware guard, and Dachou sucked in his breath in pain for the guard as Naracas kick connected with the man. That most likely would not end well for him.
Dachou didn't move, but some of the guards naturally moved closer around the firebender, thinking he would jump out into the crowd, too. They were sadly mistaken. Dachou didn't [i]do things. Especially for other people. It was against his religion. The religion of assholism.
Dachous jumped slightly, realizing now was his chance to quickly take note of anything and everything in the prison that he could. His head swiveled from side to side, his eye absorbing everyhting.
WIndows for a ceiling, the hallway can fit about 5 rows of guards. the stairs look a bit dull, I assume rust. So they probably won't take too much weight. The doors look like they clothe multiple layers of some extremely hard metal, I'll figure out what kind soon enough. As for the windows to look through, that's big enough to slip a hand through. I can do that.
Dachou was rattling off his discoveries in his head one by one, and before he knew it, the fight was basically done. Dachou looked down, his eye brows raised, a surprised look on his face. Had the fight elevated that much? The guards were just kind of attacked the big guy.... He didn't seem to be affected, though. Dachou watched with an interested look as Naraca kind of just took the beating, but Dachou knew it was far from painful for this brute. The firebender could use this man. He may be of some use.
Or maybe not. Dachou didn't play well with others. Apparently he was volatile, self-obsessed, a bit snarky. None of those things false.
The guards all stopped beating on Naraca. They had their fill of hurting him. Then, they pulled him to his feet, the majority of the guards now huddled around him, forcing him back to where he would be staying for the undetermined time. The guards all were swearing under their breath, some shaking out of fear, some out of disbelief f what happened. But no matter what, everyone had seen what the new inmate was capable of. They didn't know his title or name, but they knew his capabilities.
The guards all had their fists trained on Naraca, and they didn't falter in any visible way as they began to make their way back up the stairs. Dachou kept looking, his eyes wide, his mouth sealed shut. Then, Dachous guards began to push him forward, making him head to his cell.

Re: Pride
He wasn't really able to keep track of all the hits he was taking, when he opened his eyes all he could see were armor plated feet and shins coming right for him. The black and red metal that smacked his back, his head, his arms and his legs. He could do nothing more then curl up in the fetal position and protect his head. The hits on his body were manageable, but the hits on his broken arm were excruciating. There was no way for him to get out. He wasn't going to fight them and risk his life further, or risk Coto's life now that he just showed everyone that he cares for the large wolf.
Blow after blow they landed on him without mercy. The time this took could not have felt any longer to Naraca. He just layed there and took the shots as he waited. A couple of them got dirty and bended a little fire at him, burning his skin. Many of them landed strong soccer kicks on him, pulling there legs back fully before sending there shins hurtling towards Naraca's exposed back, or his arms, legs or mostly protected head as he covered his head up with his forearms.
Eventually they stopped the gauntlet of pain. Several of the fire nation soldiers had to catch there breath once the ceased the attacks, save for one man who still had plenty of energy and was stomping his foot down on Naraca's shoulder.
"That's enough" One of the soldiers said as he tapped the energetic soldiers shoulder with his knuckle.
With a small chuckle the guard stopped as requested.
"Sorry sir, not everyday day you get to kick the Earth Kings ass" He replied with a smile as a looked down at the curled up Naraca.
"Chain him up and drag him back to his cell. I don't want this happening again" The soldier announced to the others before pulling out his own pair of shackles.
One other soldier took hold of the arm of the unfortunate soldier that was kicked right into the metallic wall and was wedged deep within. The guard pulled as hard as he could in an attempt to get the soldier out from the wall.
The soldier with the handcuffs walked around to Naraca's back and pushed his boot against the kings back to get him to lay on his stomach. Once he got the king on his stomach the soldier grabbed Naraca's right arm and yanked it forward to hand cuff him, however the soldier hesitated as he felt an odd movement in the mans arm.
The soldier's shaked his arm a bit before looking up at one of the other soldiers.
"His arm is broken, get doctor over here to visit his cell and check on him." The soldier told one of the guards.
The guard scoffed and shrugged his shoulders.
"Who cares, leave him in pain" The guard replied
"A broken arm can get ugly and we need him alive and healthy not completely mangled. Now go" He said in a firm voice.
The guard sighed in a silent protest but obeyed as he turned around.
The soldier went back to cuffing Naraca's hands together, followed by the other soldiers helping to chain his legs together as well. They then picked him up and carried him over to his cell where they dropped him on the floor before taking off his chains and shackles.
Once his chains and shackles were off they left they all left the cell.
"A doctor will be here shortly to look at your arm" One of the soldiers said before closing the heavy cell door and tightly locking it.
Naraca who was dropped on the floor took deep struggling breaths as he slid on his knee's over to the single bed that was pushed against the corner of the cell. Naraca was almost crawling and he placed his left arm on the bed and slowly pulled himself up onto the mattress. His arm was in serious pain, his body was was in pain as well. The burns were taking there toll as well. He took it slow as he got himself on the bed and laid down. His head resting against the lumpy pillow and his chest expanding with deep, controlled breaths. he rested his right arm on his stomach and just beared through the pain that was still screaming. His eye's were closed as he rested his body and waited for the doctor.
If the pain in his arm was just taken care of he'd be able to manage with the rest. Soon as he was able he'd go outside and take a look around the prison. For now though he had to rest, he had to push through this.
Coto was alive, he was alive and now Naraca knew that if the fire nation was going through the trouble of keeping her dog alive, then Kiara had to be as well.
He took comfort in that. Although he wasn't sure if he'd get the chance he wanted to find out where Coto was being held. For now though, all he could do was rest.

Re: Pride
Dachou attempted to watch, his curiosity sparking with the Earth King as he was thrown into the jail cell. He had made it that far, why not go the extra mile and just jump away? Well, that question was kind obvious. They were on an island in the middle of a steaming volcano in the middle of the ocean. So, props to Dachou for thinking that question up in the first place. He had just lost some intelligence points for himself.
Dachou turned back forward, his eyes set forward, as the guards pushed him forward. He really didn't need any force. He was in it for the ride, right now. He wanted to get to his cell, so he could begin his escape. Had he already come up with a plan? No. Will he? It'd be a shame if he didn't. His eyes locked on a guard, who made the mistake of looking at Dachou at that exact moment. Dachou stared into the guards soul, surveying his eyes, his emotions, his actions.
The guards hands tightened into fists. He obviously thought Dachou was going to try to pull a fast one like Naraca just did. That wasn't the case, unfortunately for him. Dachou smirked at the guard, then turned back forward. Oh, what do ya know, they reached their destination.
Dachou watched silently as the guard at the front of the pack began fumbling with the keys, his mind apparently elsewhere. That part wasn't very hard. Dachou began to wonder how often these guards got to see their families. Every other day? Once a week? Every day? Never? Questions began to arise in Dachous head, but they were quickly discarded as his wrists were pulled forward. He looked at the guards confused, then his face began to stretch into a smile. No, were they really? They were unlocking his handcuffs! Hooray!
But of course, that ended when almost immediately after, the cell door swung open with an extremely loud screech, and he was thrown in the dark room.
"Ah! Watch where you throw me! This face is sensitive, you know!"
Dachou screeched as he literally flew into the cell, their force overbearing him and he landed on his shoulder. Dachou turned to his back and flopped, staring at the guards seemingly soulless faces as they slammed the door shut, the only light escaping from the small window.
Finally, peace.
Dachou sat up, facing the door as he rubbed his wrists longingly. He hadn't felt them in what seemed like years. He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath, his mind focusing on the future. How will he escape? Well, the idiots that were also stuck here could be used as easy beasts of burden. He could use that to his advantage. But they might also want in on his escaping. There's no way he would share that. It was much to precious to allow simple-minded people in on it.
But either way, there was no way he was working with anyone. It was much to risky to do that. Much too risky, indeed.

(( [Only admins are allowed to see this link] ))
It was a matter of bearing through it now, bearing through the pain and waiting for the Doctor. It was hardly a kindness of what they were doing, if the Doctor was arriving then he could only bring so much supplies, also they were forced to give him medical attention since his arm would be a problem in the future.
All Naraca could do was lay his sweaty head down on the saggy pillow and rest his body on the hard bed. It was actually rather nice on his body, applying a little pressure to his muscles. His arm rested gently across his stomach, he took deep breaths and lets himself cope with the pain, embrace it, become it, not turning his mind away from it, but becoming one with it. He had dealt with pain like this and greater so many times now that it didn't take long for this agony to become nothing at all. His body adapted and adjusted until there was no pain, only control.
Pain...How many times had the word come into his head now?
How many times has he connected that man's face to it?
Pain was the one who caused all of this, he is the reason for Kiara's capture and her pain, Coto's pain and the coming war. How long would he stay an enemy? Could he trust that Pain would be wiped out before a war could begin?
Something told Naraca that wouldn't be the case.
How was Roth doing right now? He would be filling in as a temporary King now. Would he try to find and get Naraca? Or was the world already on the doorstep of war? Its seemed likely that war would happen now. Roth would have little options, war seemed inevitable.
He had to break out of here. He had to get out of here, and it would be with Coto and Dachou. Why Dachou? Despite his attitude, he had to have something to hold onto, something to fight for and to pulled in this situation for no reason was not just in anyway. The same couldn't be said for the other prisoners, but Dachou had to right to be here. Naraca would work on getting him out as soon as he would be able.
Outside of Naraca's cell, a middle aged man in a white lab coat was walking past the cells with a bag in his hands. His eye's were an interesting cerulean blue with his glasses on.
Walked past the first guard that stood next door with the keys the doctor stopped at the door.
"Hi, I'm here to check on the Earth King about a broken arm?" The doctor asked with a voice that sounded rather intelligent and confident.
The guard nodded his head.
"Yeah, I'll let you in" The guard replied before pulling out a ring of keys and taking a moment to find the key that belonged to Naraca's cell.
In that brief moment the doctor took a step closer to the door and peaked through the small eye hole. He saw Naraca laying there almost motionless with his eye's starting at the ceiling.
The doctor's eye's narrowed in curiosity.
"We'll stay close to you Doc, make sure nothing happens to you" The guard said just before he unlocked the cell door.
The doctor however lifted his hand up and stopped the guard.
"That won't be necessary, he won't hurt me." He told the guard before placing his hand on the cell door to open it.
The guard however was surprised and instinctively held the door closed and resisted the doctors attempt.
"Doc this man is dangerous" The guard protested
"No" The doctor replied calmly
"He's harmless, he wouldn't kill the man healing him, and if he used me as a hostage the warden would consider me expendable for the capture of the Earth King" The Doctor said with an odd smile on his face.
The guard remained silent, yet he still had his hand on the door.
"Besides, if this is the Earth King I heard about, he wouldn't hurt an innocent man trying to help" The doctor remarked with confident tone, completely believing what he was saying.
While the guard was hesitant, he nodded his head and let go of the door.
"If you say so" He told the doctor as he moved back to his post.
"Thank you" The doctor said before giving another smile to the doctor.
Walking into the cell, the doctor bowed his head respectfully to the Earth King.
Naraca didn't turn his head but only moved his eyes to view the man that walked in.
"Greetings sir, I'm Doctor Conner" He told Naraca humbly.
Naraca turned his head for a moment to look at Conner, his lab coat looked more fitting for a scientist rather then a Doctor. His eye's seemed to stick out though, his skin was almost as pale as his coat as well. His hair was brown and looked freshly cut.
Naraca didn't think much of the respect he was giving, coulda easily been mockery, he didn't care either way. He just stayed silent.
Conner saw the Earth King didn't respond, yet he maintained his smile.
"How are you feeling?" He asked Naraca before walking closer to his bed and placing the bag down next to the Earth King.
Naraca didn't respond.
Conner let a couple seconds pass as he grabbed the only chair in the room and carried it over to Naraca's bed and placed right down next to him.
"That's too bad, I'm sorry about the guards here, they can get out of control sometimes" He told Naraca in a apologetic tone, giving a small frown when mentioning the guards.
Yet his smile quickly came back as he stood next to the chair.
"May I sit down sir?" He asked respectfully.
Naraca turned his head to the doctor with a puzzled look on his face. His behavior wasn't so much odd rather it was just completely out of place. This was not the setting to be acting formal at all. Yet Naraca gave the very faint movement of his two fingers as a way to express that he was allowed.
The Doctor bowed his head once seeing the motion.
"Thank you" He expressed kindly before sitting down and reaching to his bag to pull it a little closer.
"May I see your arm?" The Doctor asked before going back his bag.
Naraca knew he'd have to sit up for this so he exhaled with a small grunt as he rose up to a sitting position and face the doctor with his feet now on the floor.
The Doctor found himself having to look waaaaay up to meet the Kings eye's. Yet he didn't comment on it, he didn't want to insult him by mistake.
Naraca lifted his right arm up and held it close to the Doctor's chest.
Conner lightly placed both his hands on the log of an arm that was presented to him. He placed his one hand just in front of Naraca's elbow to support the big man's arm, while his other hand lightly touched Naraca's forearm.
Conner was surprised by the weight of his arm alone, it felt like he was trying to hold up two 4 liter milk cartons, and from the looks of it Naraca wasn't giving Conner the full weight of his arm.
Despite that though Conner felt Naraca's forearm, them reached his hand up to the rest of his arm.
Naraca found it odd he wasn't asking any questions, such as where it hurt or where he felt it was broken.
Conner didn't need to ask that's why, he was a talented Doctor. Not only that but his hands were very sensitive, he could just touch his arm and feel out all of the problems. It was amazing to the Doctor, he had never felt something like this.
The scar tissue, the thick and hard skin, the muscle, the strong bones despite the places where they were broken. If he were to close his eyes he wouldn't have believed this was a man's arm. Everything about it was tough and strong, yet his skin still had the softness of a human being, the hairs on his arms still felt human. Yet it also felt like touching the arm of an animal. Such an interesting feeling.
Despite that however, it didn't get in the way of Conner's assessment.
"Your arm is banged up pretty good, the two bones on your forearm right here" He said before pausing to place his two fingers on Naraca's forearm.
"Were completely snaped in half. Also on your upper arm the bone is broken just below your shoulder. I must say I'm impressed you aren't screaming in pain, let alone being able to move like how you've been doing" Conner remarked with an impressed voice that carryed a half smile with it.
Naraca knew this already from how it felt yet he was rather surprised by Conner's ability to tell just by touch.
"You also have a bit of an infection starting. Sadly this prison equip me very well but I think I have enough in my bag here to help you out." He told Naraca before reaching into his bag and pulling out a few supplies.
He then began to work on his arm, giving it the best medical attention he could provide. As he did, he found it rather funny sometimes how he limited himself like this. How he lied by saying he didn't have enough supplies. Although this was The Boiling Rock Prison, he was a very skilled Doctor and could manage his own Hospital if he wanted to. However he liked a challenge, so he would purposely limit himself and put himself in situations where he would have to think outside the box.
Naraca stayed quiet throughout it all, he was cautious, didn't want to say anything that the Fire Nation could use against him, also he just simply didn't want to talk.
It didn't take very long at all for Conner to be finished.
When all was said and done Naraca had a cast around his right arm with a sleeve attached to a sling that could go over his head to he could walk around with his arm on his chest and let it heal.
"There you are sir, it feel okay?" Conner asked as he leaned back to examine the cast.
Naraca had the cast cover he entire arm, end on just the end of his shoulder. He lifted his arm up and down, it didn't hurt anymore which was good.
Naraca nodded his head with satisfaction as a reply.
Conner smiled and placed both his hand together.
"Great! I'm glad I could help" He said joyfully.
"Oh and I'll give you something for that infection" He said before reaching into his bag and pulling a container that had several pills in it. It took two pills out and gave to Naraca.
Naraca took them in his hand and just popped them in his mouth and swallowed them.
Conner paused for a moment, he was going to give Naraca some water to down the pills.
Despite that though he reached into his bag and pulled out a small water bottle.
"Here you can have this, I'm sure the guards won't mind" He said with a slightly comedic tone as though he was breaking the rules and enjoying it.
He handed the bottle to the King who took it and gulped down a big section of the water.
The Doctor smiled happily as he watched.
"Well that's all I can do for you for now, if your arm starts acting up or you start to feel sick in anyway just tell one of the guards an I'll rush right over" He said as he packed up his bag before getting up to his feet.
Naraca's eye's narrowed as he watched Conner get up. He was still cautious, but understood that he was just given medical attention and water.
"Thank you" Naraca finally saying something in low and slightly growly voice his always carried.
Conner eye's opened up slightly in surprise before taking a deep bow with his head almost touching his knees.
"You're most welcome my lord! Thank YOU for gracing me with your presence" He replied with great enthusiasm before lifting his head up with a large grin on his face.
"Now you have a great day sir" He said before turning around and walking out of the cell.
Naraca paused for a moment, it was overall an odd encounter but it caused him to give out a small half small before taking another drink of water.
Back outside, the guard outside Naraca's cell left the door unlocked and walked away shortly after looking at the time.
It was shortly after that, a loud voice blared out over a large speaker.
"Lunchtime!!"
It was a matter of bearing through it now, bearing through the pain and waiting for the Doctor.
